Shadrach
Shadrach has been attending Babylon Church for 1 year. He is enthusiastic, consistent, and not particularly interested in examining why he believes what he believes. He's a good man. He's also the kind of man accountability structures were designed for: the guy who says "I'm good" every week and mostly means it, but hasn't considered what "good" is costing him.
Meshach
Meshach is new to Babylon Church. He’s still finding his footing in this community, and asking questions that make the other men shift in their seats. Meshach believes in God. He's less sure about some of the things God's people have decided to believe about women, authority, and who gets to speak. He's not here to blow things up. He's here because he's looking for something real. He just isn't sure this is it yet.
Abednego
Abednego has attended Babylon Church since it was a meeting in Pastor Daniel’s living room. He leads the group. He’s theologically grounded in a way that earns respect; he can walk you through complementarian hermeneutics or unpack a passage from Romans without breaking a sweat. He's read Piper. He's read Grudem. He's sat with the hard texts and come out the other side with answers that hold up in the room. The other men trust him and look up to him. He leads with confidence and authority, yet has his own questions when no one is watching.
